ENTE at the Ecumenical Forum in Monte Carlo
On 20th January 2020 ENTE participated in the meeting of the forum. Within the framework of the circus festival in Monte Carlo, circus and carny pastoral workers from various countries meet in the ecumenical forum in order to discuss pastoral care matters, but also social and educational (political) aspects. Zsuzsanna Mata of the Fédération Mondiale du Circque illustrated their work. E.g. for two years the BIG TOP LABEL is given to circuses, which meet the quality standards of this award. ENTE proposed to include the (educational) situation of children who travel with circuses in the evaluation. Furthermore, it was discussed with other participants, who could potentially take another service point or in how far participation in Erasmus projects could be organised.
